So last night I knitted until I could knit no more. I hit an enormous tangle in the yarn. My knitting mentor, Kathy, said that is called "Yarn Barf" and I think that is a fitting name. I decided that since I was not able to proceed past the tangle that I would try casting off. I watched a video on YouTube and I was able to do it! Yay me!
Here is the result of my first knitting attempt.

What you are about to see is pretty ugly. LOL. You can see how uneven and wonky it is.
I am knitting though.

NOT BAD FOR A FIRST ATTEMPT! My looked about the same. AKA - My left handed problem is that I am backwards so I had to teach myself -- so I didn't take up knitting because I couldn't figure it out!!
